Seen the order dated 20/12/2023 passed in the Permanent Lok-Adalat.

Seen also the petition No.410/23 filed by both the parties jointly stating that they have settled the instant case mutually on the following terms and conditions:

(i) That the opposite party No.1 & 2 on behalf of the State Bank of India shall pay an amount of Rs.38,000/- to the complainant as settlement amount within 30.12.2023 either by cash/cheque/online mode without fail.

(ii) That the complainant shall collect the duplicate copy of insurance policy from the opposite party No.1 & 2 issued by the opposite party No.3 from the opposite party No.1 & 2 within 30.12.2023 without fail.

(iii) That in the event of failure to pay the aforesaid settlement amount by the opposite party No.1 & 2 to the complainant within 30.12.2023, then the complainant shall be entitled to recover the said settlement amount from the opposite party No.1 & 2 with interest @9.15% per annum by filing any kind of legal proceedings before the appropriate Forum as per law.

They further stated in the petition that they have settled their conflict and tender their no objection regarding disposal of the case on compromise as per the above terms and conditions.

Heard the learned counsel for both the sides as well as the parties-in-person.

In view of the same, the instant case is disposed of on compromise with the aforesaid terms and conditions.
