Complaint filed by the petitioner, on contest was dismissed by the District Forum vide order dated 21.10.2004   and appeal against Forum’s order taken out by the petitioner too has been dismissed by the order dated 29.10.2010 under challenge. Fora below have accepted the defence taken by the respondent – Railway that the train No.8 JF which was to leave Ferozepur for Jalandhar  was cancelled on 20.9.2003 due to block for track upgradation on Ferozepur – Jalandhar section and after lifting of the block, the next available train was 10 JF which was started from Ferozepur Cantt at 15.40 PM and it reached Jalandhar at 19.55 PM and information in regard to cancellation of the train was duly displayed on the notice board of the Railway at Fazilka. There is no illegality or jurisdictional error in the order of either of the two fora below calling for interference in revisional jurisdiction under Section 21(b) of the C.P. Act, 1986. Dismissed.
