ORDER

This Revision Petition has been filed against order dated 01.01.2018 passed by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum-I, U.T., Chandigarh (in short ‘the Forum’) ordering exparte proceedings against the revision petitioners/opposite parties.

                        Service is complete.

                        Ms. Shikha Khullar Jaidka, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent/complainant by filing her Vakalatnama, which is taken on record.

                        At the time of arguments,          Ms. Shikha Khullar Jaidka, Advocate, Counsel for the respondent/complainant states that let the matter be decided on merits.

                        Counsel for the revision petitioners/opposite parties states that reply and evidence/affidavit will be filed within two weeks from today. We make it clear that in case, it is not so done, no further opportunity shall be granted to the revision petitioners/opposite parties.

                        In view of above, the revision petition is allowed. Order dated 01.01.2018, under challenge, is set aside.

                        Order passed is subject to payment of Rs.3,000/- as cost. The said amount shall be paid by the revision petitioners to the respondent/complainant before the Forum.

                        Parties/their Counsel are directed to appear before the District Forum-I, U.T., Chandigarh today itself as the matter is already listed for today.

                        Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties, free of charge.

                        Complete record alongwith a certified copy of this order be sent to the Forum, immediately, so as to reach there before the date fixed.

                                File be consigned to the Record Room after completion.
