1.         Aviva Life Insurance Company India Limited, Madhya Marg, SCO 180-182, Sector 9C, Chandigarh.

2.         Aviva Life Insurnce Company India Limited, Aviva Tower, Sector Road, Opposite Golf Course, DLF Phase V, Sector 43, Gurgaon-122003.

3.         The Branch Manager, Aviva Life Insurance Company India Limited, SCO 180-182, Madhya Marg, Sector 9C, Chandigarh.

Present:           Sh. Harnek Singh, Complainant No.1 in person and Auth. Rep. of Complainant No.2.

                        Sh.Arun Dogra, Advocate for OPs.

                                                            ORDER

                            This case has been taken up today in the Lok Adalat. Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute. Statement given by them is reproduced as under:-

 “Statement of Sh.Arun Dogra, Adv. for OPs

The matter has been settled between the parties and towards the full and final settlement of the claim of the complainants, the OP offers to refund the entire premium amount (without any deductions) deposited by the complainants uptodate against policy no. WLG-1508460 and WLG-1513258. After receving the said amount, the complainants will not be entitled to any interest, compensation etc. The OP undertakes to pay the aforesaid sum of amount within four weeks from today i.e. 15.10.2010. Original policies have been received by me today in the Court.

I accept the above statement of Sh.Arun Dogra, Adv. for OPs. Hence I withdraw the present complaint as fully satisfied.”

2.                     In view of the above statements, the complaint stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, the parties would remain bound by their statements.

3.                     Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties. The file be consigned.
