interested in earning the premiums and find ways<br /> and means to decline claims.<br /> All conditions which generally are hidden, need<br /> to be simplified so that these are easily understood by a<br /> person at the time of buying any policy."<br /> It was further held that :<br /> " It seems that Insurance Companies are only <br /> interested in earning the premiums, which are <br /> rather too stiff now a days, but are not keen<br /> and are found to be evasive to discharge their<br /> liabilities. The Insurance Companies in such <br /> cases rely upon clause of the agreements, which<br /> a person is generally made to sign on dotted lines <br /> at the time of obtaining policy."<br /> Complainant served a notice Ex,.O5 on the opposite parties and vide this notice, complainant showed her dis-satisfaction with the services of opposite parties so she wants to cancel the said policy. In this complaint, prayer of the complainant is very simple and she only demands for the refund of Rs.24000/- which she has deposited with the opposite parties Aviva Life Insurance Company through opposite party No.3 because complainant is not satisfied with the services of the opposite parties and opposite parties never sent her the insurance policy, so the complainant wants to cancel this policy bearing No.WTG1390733.<br /> So we accept the prayer of the complainant and direct the opposite parties to refund Rs.24000/- deposited by the complainant on 16/11/2007 and on 25/2/2008 alongwith interest @ 8% p.a. from the dates complainant deposited two installments with the opposite parties till realisation besides Rs.3000/- as cost of litigation payable to the complainant within one month from the receipt of copy of this order.<br /> Let certified copies of order rendered be supplied to the parties without delay and file be consigned to record room.<br /> <br /> Announced : Shashi Narang Paramjit Singh<br /> 8.7.2009 Member President.
