Heard the learned Counsels for the Petitioners and the Respondent.

          In the interest of justice, the impugned Orders dated 16.05.2017 passed in both the Appeal Nos. i.e. 708 and 709 of 2016 respectively by the State Commission are set aside and the Revision Petitions are allowed, subject to payment of a cost of Rs.10,000/- in each case by the Petitioners (Haryana Urban Development Authority) to the Respondents/Complainants in both cases directly in their names respectively by way of ‘a/c payee only’ demand drafts within a period of four weeks from today, with the directions  to the Chief Administrator, HUDA, Panchkula, Haryana to recover the same from the functionary/ies responsible for not attending to these Appeals on the two consecutive dates of hearings before the State Commission, which resulted in both the Appeals being dismissed in default.

          The Chief Administrator, HUDA, Panchkula, Haryana  is also directed to   file a report in compliance as well as a report on the whole episode through counsel before the next date of hearing.

          Parties are directed to appear before the State Commission on 10.09.2018.
