During the pendency of the Appeals, the disputes between the parties, subject matter of the Appeals, have since been settled amicably out-of-Court.  A joint application, supported by the affidavits of representatives of both the parties, for placing on record the settlement has been filed.  The same is taken on record and, as prayed, the Appeals are disposed of in terms of the settlement.  Both the parties shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement.

The Appeals stand disposed of with no order as to costs.

The statutory deposit made by the Appellant at the time of filing the Appeals shall stand transferred to the Consumer Welfare Fund by way of a Bank Draft drawn in favour of PAO, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, New Delhi.
