ORDER

          Heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner.

          Essentially, the matter pertains to the allegations of theft of electricity and it is a matter of record that an FIR has been registered against the Petitioner/Complainant and the proceedings are in progress.

          Learned State Commission vide order dated 10.06.2024 considered it inexpedient to proceed with the matter, with due regard to the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court with respect to matters relating to Section 135 of the Electricity Act regarding proceedings with respect to theft of electricity being adjudicated by consumer fora. 

          After brief arguments, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks to withdraw the Revision Petition with liberty to approach appropriate forum.

          Considering the submissions made, Revision Petition No.2731 of 2024 is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the Petitioner to approach the appropriate forum and seek remedy under Section 14 of the Limitation Act.
