Neither petitioner nor any one appears on behalf of the petitioner. Even then the matter has been considered. While the District Forum had directed the respondent Corporation to over-haul the account of the complainant and refund the excess amount deposited by the complainant alongwith interest @9% p.a. The State Commission, on appeal filed by the respondent Corporation had modified the order of the District Forum only to the extent that while the complainant would be entitled to the refund of the excess amount realised by the Corporation, interest @9% p.a. thereon was waived. The petitioner / complainant has filed this revision petition for the restoration of 9% interest awarded by the District Forum. The order passed by the Fora below have been perused. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the order passed by the State Commission is eminently justified, there being no illegality, irregularity or jurisdictional error. The revision petition is dismissed with no order as to costs.
