None appeared on behalf of the complainant for the last consecutive dates i.e. 30.01.2015 and 03.07.2015. OP filed an application on 26.09.2014 that complainant’s connection is IP connection. This complaint is not maintainable in this forum and prayed that complaint be dismissed.
Complainant did not file any reply. Heard OP and perused the file and considered. From the copy of the bill filed by the complainant (Annexure-1), it appears that electricity connection of complainant was industrial connection. It is not alleged by the complainant in his complaint that the services availed by him exclusively for the purpose of earning his livelihood by means of self employment, therefore it is obvious that services availed by the complainant from the OP is for commercial purpose, so complainant is not a consumer under the provision of Consumer Protection Act 1986. Hence this complaint is not maintainable. Case be disposed of accordingly.
Copy of this order be made available to the parties free of cost as per law and a copy be kept on separate file. File be consigned to record room.
