OP filed on record electricity bill dated 17.08.2023 which shows NT amount of Rs. 1,05,813.31/-. It is informed that principal amount Rs 48,000/- remaining is LPSC.

Complainant submits that he is a retired Government servant and the present case has been pursued for him for the last 11 years and he is not in position to continue with the present case. Keeping in view his age is about 70 years as well. Complainant submits that he is willing to pay principal amount of Rs. 48,000/-. He submits that the LPSC may waved off keeping in view his special circumstances. It is further submitted on behalf of complainant that OP in various amnesty schemes given similar relief to other consumers.

          We have heard and perused the record the present case is pending since 2013 for the last 11 years. The complainant is a retired Government Servant and aged about 70 years. Therefore, in these special circumstances where complainant is willing to pay principal amount of Rs. 48,000/- deemed appropriate to wave off LPSC in the interest of justice. The complainant is directed to pay the agreed above stated amount deposited with OP within one month from today. With these directions the present complaint disposed off. Copy of order be given dasti for compliance.
