Today is fixed for filing show cause by the complainant.

Ld. Counsel for the OP Nos. 1 to 4 files hazira. No step taken by the complainant. None appears on behalf of the complainant during its call. No show cause is filed on behalf of the complainant.

It is evident from the record that the Complaint was filed on 27.11.2018 and the Complaint was fixed on 28.11.2018 for admission hearing. The Complaint was taken up for hearing on its admissibility point and the same was admitted on 28.11.2018 and notices were issued upon the Ops.

Thereafter eight dates were elapsed, but the complainant did not take any step on his behalf. Therefore, the Complainant was directed to show cause as to why the complaint shall not be dismissed for non-prosecution.

Today also the complainant neither taken any step nor filed any show cause. In such circumstances, we are of the opinion that the complainant has lost interest to contest the case.

Hence, it is

O r d e r e d

that the Consumer Complaint being No. 197/2018 be and the same is dismissed for non-prosecution. There is no order as to costs.

Let plain copies of this order be supplied to the parties free of cost as per provisions of law.
