We, therefore, direct O.P.1 and 2 (New India Assurance Co. Ltd.) to pay the insured amount Rs. 100000/- (one lac) on account of risk covered by policy due to loss/damage by fire to the complainant with interest @ 14% from 09/09/2009 (the date of surveyor report) till its payment to the complainant. A sum of rs. 10000/- is also awarded by way of compensation including the litigation cost.

  The office is directed to supply a copy of the order to the parties or to their respective lawyers free of cost. The case is decided accordingly.
