The case record is taken up on the basis of put up petition of the O.P. No.1 & 2.
The O.P. No.1 & 2, The Managing Director & CEO, Exide Life Insurance Co. Ltd., jointly deposit an A/C Payee cheque bearing No.622825 dated 26.07.2023 for Rs.55,000/- (Rupees Fifty Five thousand only) drawn on Citi Bank, Bangalore Branch in favour of wife of the Complainant, Dipali Ghosh Roy since they have joint account in the bank. Let it be kept under the safe custody of the Registrar of this Commission.
The Complainant, Sri Pranab Kumar Ghosh is present in person and files a petition alongwith a self attested Xerox copy of Aadhaar Card Vide No.681044745803 to withdraw the A/C Payee cheque bearing No. 622825 dated 26.07.2023 for Rs.55,000/- (Rupees Fifty Five thousand only) drawn on Citi Bank, Bangalore Branch in favour of the Complainant, Dipali Ghosh Roy. This is the full and final payment made by the O.P. No.1 & 2 in favour of the Complainant in accordance with the complaint Case No. CC/28/2023 before this Commission.
The Complainant is examined and the identity of Sri Pranab Kumar Ghosh is verified with his self attested Aadhaar Card identified by his Ld. Advocate, Sri Tanumay Kar.
Heard. Considered and the prayer is allowed.
Sri Pranab Kumar Ghosh be permitted to withdraw the said A/C Payee cheque bearing No. 622825 dated 26.07.2023 for Rs.55,000/- (Rupees Fifty Five thousand only) with proper receipt and identification. A Xerox copy of the A/C Payee cheque be kept with this record.
Accordingly, the case is finally disposed of.
Hence, it is
Ordered
That the complaint Case No. CC/28/2023 be and the same is dismissed for non-prosecution.
Let a copy of this order be sent to the parties free of cost.
