This is an appeal filed by the complainant in CC.693/15 on the file of CDRF, Ernakulam challenging the order of the Forum dated, June 01, 2016 dismissing the complaint for her absence.

2.      On going through the copy of the order of the Forum it is seen that complaint was dismissed for the absence of the complainant.  Taking into account the nature of the contention raised by the parties we feel that an opportunity should be given to the complainant to contest the matter on merits.  Hence the impugned order of the Forum dismissing the complaint is set aside.  Matter is remanded to the Forum for fresh disposal in accordance with law.  On receipt of records Forum shall issue notice to both parties.
