ORDER

 

BY PRESIDENT THIRU. J. JUSTIN DAVID, M.A., M.L.,

          This complaint is filed by the complainant u/s 12 of the Consumer Protection Act.1986.

          The complainant filed by complaint The opposite party  to issue the policy in favour of the complainant for a sum of Rs.2 lakhs, and to pay a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- towards compensation for mental agony to pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- towards cost of the complaint.

          Both parties and their counsel present.

          Both parties filed Joint Memo of compromise stating that the opposite party paid a sum of Rs.65,400/- by cheque and the case  is settled. Memo recorded.

          In view of the memo filed by both parties, this complaint is dismissed as settled out of the commission.

          Order Pronounced dated 18^th February 2022.
