          This is a complaint filed u/s.12  of Consumer Protection Act, 1986 for directing the Opposite Party to refund a sum of Rs.4,160/- as electric charges and also directing the Opposite Parties to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- towards compensation and for costs.  

          2. Notice to the opposite party was served.  The Opposite party appeared through Counsel and filed Reply Station.   The complainant was examined himself as CW1 and exs.C1 to C6 were marked.  Hence, the matter was posted for cross-examination of CW1.

          3. Today this complaint was called.  Both parties filed Memo stating that the matter between the parties settled out of court.  The complainant agreed for a sum of Rs.10,000/- as compensation, the opposite party also agreed to pay.  Hence, prayed for dismissal of the complaint.

4. In view of the memo filed by both the parites, this complaint is hereby dismissed as not pressed and settled.  The memo is part and parcel of the case. No cost.
