Complaint under Section 35 of Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Present:  Sh. Paramjeet Sharma, counsel for the complainant.

                   Sh. Sanjeev Vohra, counsel for the OP.

                                     

                   File taken up today, on the application moved by the both parties for permission to withdraw the present complaint. Power of attorney on behalf of the OP also filed.           

        At this stage, learned counsel for the OP has suffered his separate statement to effect that the matter has been compromised between the parties and as per compromise OP is ready to pay Rs.98,500/-. Full and final settlement will be done within 30 days from the date of receipt of the order. OP will also revive the policy in question on necessary payment.

                 On the other hand, learned counsel for the complainant has suffered his separate statement to the effect that the matter has been compromised with the OP. Complainant is ready to settlement his claim on principal amount of Rs.98,500/-. He agrees to the statement given by the counsel for the OP, so he does not want to pursue with the present complaint further and withdraws the same being compromised.

       In view of the above statements, the present complaint is hereby dismissed as withdrawn being compromised. Both the parties will be bound by their statement. Parties concerned be communicated of the order accordingly and file be consigned to the record room.
