Smriti Das, D.Hr. had lodged this complaint on 05/02/2018 accusing non-compliance of Judgment order dt. 20/09/2017 against Consumer Complaint No. 26/2017 against the OP.

          The OP in its written statement dt. 22/02/2018 has stated that they had already complied with the judgment order dt.  20/09/2017 by making payment by cheque on 06/02/2018. They had paid only the compensation amount Rs. 5000/- and litigation cost Rs. 2000/- only. The DHR has also admitted in written statement (kept in record) on 22/02/2018 that she had received Rs. 7,000/- but she claimed the interest as ordered by this forum.

          The OP in its written statement has stated the reason of delaying the payment and prayed for waiving the interest as ordered on 20/09/2018.

          The reason advocated by the OP in its statement is found logical as some administrative steps had to be undertaken by the OP to comply with the order of this Forum dt. 20/09/2018. The OP has shown good gesture in its action to comply the order of this forum.

         So, it is ordered that the interest as imposed in the order dt. 20/09/2017 in regard to case No. CC/26/2017 is waived for the instant case.

      The case is disposed of accordingly.

            Let a plain copy of this order / judgment be furnished to the parties concerned forthwith free of cost.
