Respondent has filed this Review Application seeking review of Order dated 19^th April, 2011 passed by this Commission in Revision Petition No. 3934 of 2010 by which  this Commission has  dismissed the Revision Petition  and affirmed the impugned order passed by the State Commission  in view of the law laid down by the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.7687 of 2004 titled General Manager, Telecom vs. M. Krishnan & Anr. (decided on 1.09.2009).     In General Manager, Telecom (supra), the Supreme Court held:

“In our opinion when there is a special remedy provided in Section 7B of the Indian Telegraph Act regarding disputes in respect of telephone bills, then the remedy under the Consumer Protection Act is by implication barred”.

No ground for review is made out. Dismissed.
