We are happy to note that the Appellant has agreed to pay to the Respondent/Complainant a sum of Rs.25 Lacs (Rupees Twenty Five Lacs only) as full and final settlement of the dispute, subject matter of the Complaint, giving rise to the present Appeal.  The offer is acceptable to the Respondent.

               It is stated that a sum of Rs.20 Lac already stands deposited in this Commission by virtue of order dated 26.03.2014.  If that be so, the said amount shall be released to the Respondent forthwith.  The balance amount of Rs.5 Lacs shall be paid by the Appellant to the Respondent by means of a Bankers Cheque or Demand Draft on or before 15.11.2014 on her returning the original documents which may have been issued by the Appellant Company to her.

               The statutory amount of Rs.35,000/-, deposited at the time of filing Appeal, shall however,  stand transferred to the Consumer Legal Aid Account.

          The Appeal stands disposed of in above terms with no order as to costs.
