Case was fixed for compromise as previous statement of Opposite parties. Sh. A.K. Gandhi counsel for OPs has recorded his statement separately today in this Commission that Ops No. 1 & 2 offered to settle the claim of the complainant amounting to Rs. 1,28,000/- as full and final settlement of the claim amount. He further stated that the amount of the claim will be paid to the complainant within 30 days from the date of the receipt of the copy of the order passed by this Commission in this regard. Complainant alongwith Sh. H.S. Bawa counsel has also recorded his statement separately today in this Commission that he heard the statement of the counsel for the OP and accept the offer made by the OP to settle his claim for Rs. 1,28,000/- as full and final settlement of the claim amount. In view of the statement made by both the parties today in this Commission, the complaint is disposed off with the direction to the Opposite parties that they shall pay an amount of Rs. 1,28,000/- to the complainant within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order as per their statement failing which they shall be liable to pay interest @ 6% per annum after the period of 30 days as their statement. Both the parties shall remain bound by their statements. File be consigned to the record room.
