Record is placed before the National Lok Adalat as per order dated 02.12.2024 for settlement of the matter.

Both the parties are present. Heard both the sides as to settlement of the matter. It is submitted for the Ld. Advocate for the OP Insurance Co. that the OP Insurance Co. is ready to settle the matter at an amount of Rs.2,80,000/-. The complainant has agreed to the proposal of the OP Co.

On the above it appears that both the parties are agreed to settle the matter at an amount of Rs.2,80,000/-.

Hence, the OP Insurance Co. is directed to pay a sum of Rs.2,80,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Eighty thousand) only to complainant Smt. Piyali Sen through NEFT within Three (3) weeks from the date of this order.

Hence, the CDF Unit-II, CC No. 25/2024 is settled and disposed of finally through the National Lok Adalat.

If the OP Insurance Co. transgress to comply the order of the National Lok Adalat as per terms and condition within the period as mentioned afore, the complainant is at liberty to file appropriate application for execution of the decree as per law.

Let a copy of this order be supplied to both the parties free of cost with proper endorsement.
