Heard Sh. Deepak Kumar Sati, learned counsel for the applicant and perused the record.

This miscellaneous application has been filed by the applicant for releasing the amount of Rs. 25,000/-, which was deposited by the applicant towards mandatory deposit while filing First Appeal No. 32 of 2018; Life Insurance Corporation of India Vs. Smt. Deepa Devi.

The aforesaid appeal was filed by the applicant before this Commission against the judgment and order dated 22.02.2018 passed by the District Commission, Udhamsingh Nagar in consumer complaint No. 61 of 2015; Smt. Deepa Devi Vs. Life Insurance Corporation of India and another.

This Commission vide order dated 13.09.2023 has partly allowed the aforesaid appeal.

According to office report dated 29.03.2024 / 03.05.2024, in compliance of judgment and order dated 22.02.2018 passed by the District Commission, the applicant has deposited the entire decretal amount before the District Commission.  

In view of above, the miscellaneous application is allowed.  The aforesaid amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) deposited by the applicant with this Commission, be released in favour of the applicant.

File be consigned to the record room along with copy of this order.
