SRI.P.V. JAYARAJAN, PRESIDENT:

This is a complaint filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:

This complaint is filed by the complainant against the opposite party alleging deficiency in service and unfair trade practice on the part of the opposite party, in respect of purchase of an earphone from the opposite party by paying Rs.7,749/- towards consideration. 

After admitting the case notice was issued to the opposite party by this Commission and the same was returned with endorsement ‘left’.  The complainant was directed to take steps against the opposite party.  When the case came up for hearing today, the complainant filed a memo seeking permission to withdraw the complaint on personal grounds.  The withdrawal memo filed by the complainant is accepted and recorded.  In view of the memo filed by the complainant we find that this complaint is to be dismissed as not pressed. 

In the result the complaint is dismissed.  There will be no order as to cost.  

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
