File has been taken up today in the National Lok Adalat. Statement of Sh.A.K.Gandhi, Adv. Counsel for the OPs No.1 & 2 recorded that he on behalf of OPs No.1 & 2, offer to settle the claim of the complainant involved in the present complaint of Rs.30,000/- as full and final payment. Amount will be paid within 45 days from the date of the award/order passed by the Hon'ble Commission. Further, Statement of Sh.Bharat Mahajan, Advocate Counsel for the Complainant that he has heard the statement of Counsel for the OPs No.1 & 2, and accept the offer made by the Counsel for OPs No.1 & 2 to settle the claim of the Complainant involved in the present complaint of Rs.30,000/-. In case Ins. Co. failed to make the payment within 45 days, the Ins. Co. will be liable to pay the interest on the amount @ 9%. per annum.

In view of statement suffered by Ld. Counsel for OPs No.1 & 2 as well as Counsel for the Complainant, parties have settled the matter amicably. So accordingly, the award is passed with the direction to the OPs No.1 & 2 to pay the aforesaid amount of Rs.30,000/- to the complainant within 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of the order, failing which the OPs will further be liable to pay interest @ 9% per annum to the complainant from the date of award. The present complaint is accordingly disposed of. Copy of the award be supplied to the parties, free of costs, under the rules. File be consigned to the record room.
