
The Chief Manager,UCO bank and 1 Another filed a consumer case on 07 Oct 2022 against Shri Ningthoujam Sanajaoba Singh in the StateCommission Consumer Court. The case no is A/1/2022 and the judgment uploaded on 19 Oct 2022.
Parties by their respective counsel are present and they have filed a joint petition praying for disposal of the present Appeal subject to payment of Rs. 78,000/-(Rupees Seventy eight thousand) only by the Appellant No.2 to the respondent.
We have heard the learned counsel for both sides and we have also perused and examined the application so filed by both the parties.
An amount of Rs.78,000/- (Rupees Seventy eight thousand) only has been proposed by the Appellant No. 2 for payment to the respondent towards full and final settlement of the present appeal and the respondent has also expressed his readiness, willingness and acceptance to such proposal of the appellants. Since the parties have come to settlement under the above stated terms and conditions which are not opposed to law, we have no alternative but to dispose of the present Appeal subject to payment of Rs.78,000/-(Rupees Seventy eight thousand) only by the Appellant No.2 to the respondent.
In the result, it is ordered that the Appellant No.2 shall pay the sum of Rs.78,000/-(Rupees Seventy eight thousand) only to the respondent which would be deducted from the amount of Rs.1, 41,000/- so deposited by the Appellants in the State Commission in connection with the filing of the present Appeal.
Registry is directed to deduct and pay a sum of Rs. 78,000/- (Rupees Seventy eight thousand) only to the respondent out of the Rs.1,41,000/-(Rupees One lakh fortyone thousand) only deposited by the Appellants at the time of filing the present appeal and the remaining amount of Rs.63,000/- be returned/refunded to the appellants forthwith.
Registry is further directed to let copies of this order be made available to the Ld. counsel for the parties for onward service of this order to the parties and to return all the records of Consumer Complaint Case No. 2 of 2019, of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum (Commission) Bishnupur, along with a copy of this order. First Appeal No. 1 of 2022 is disposed of.
. With this the connected cases, if any, including Execution Case No.3/22 pending disposal before the Ld. District Commission, Bishnupur shall stand disposed of.
