No-one is present for the respondents, despite service.  The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the scheme under which deposit was made by the complainant itself was closed by UTI, during pendency of the appeal of the petitioner before the State Commission, only a sum of Rs.33,200.31 would have been payable to the complainant even if incentive of Rs.1,000/- is given on the assumption that the application was received on or before 31.12.1992.  He further states that the maturity amount of Rs.32,507.09 having already been paid to the complainant, the petitioner is ready to pay the balance amount of Rs.694/- to the complainant, along with appropriate interest on that amount. 

The revision petition is therefore disposed of by directing the petitioner to pay the aforesaid amount of Rs.694/- to the complainant along with interest on that amount @ 9% per annum with effect from 1.10.2000, the date on which the payment of Rs.32,507.09 was made. 

The payment in terms of this order shall be made within six weeks from today.  The revision petition stands disposed of accordingly.
