CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 95  OF  2021

OP No.3 already ex-parte.

ORDER

1.   Heard. At this stage, the parties have settled the matter. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Devinder Kumar, Counsel for OP No.1 & 2 has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties and as per settlement, the OP No.1 & 2 shall pay a lumpsum amount of Rs.25,000/- in full and final settlement of the present matter to the complainant within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order, subject to the return of washing machine in question by the complainant. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Gurmeet Singh, Authorized Representative of Complainant has admitted the aforesaid statement of counsel for OP No.1 & 2 and stated that the washing machine in question is already lying with OP No.2. He has prayed that the complaint be disposed off in terms of aforesaid settlement.

2.   In view of the statements and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed off by passing the following order:-

     (i)  The OP No.1 & 2 shall pay a lumpsum amount of   Rs.25,000/- to the complainant within a period of 30 days     from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

     (ii) In case OP No.1 & 2 fails to pay the aforesaid amount within the stipulated period, then OP Ho.1 & 2   shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith   interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of present      consumer complaint i.e. 12.02.2021 till its realization.

3.   The complaint is disposed off accordingly.

4.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
