Learned counsel for the  appellant is present. None appears for the respondent.

Learned counsel  for the appellant submitted that he has already paid Rs.12,148/- as per the order of the learned District Forum and submitted to set aside the last portion of the impugned order for payment of compensation of Rs.5,000/- and cost of  Rs.1,000/-.

In view of the fact that they have already complied the impugned order in its 1^st portion, last portion of the impugned order is modified instead of Rs.6,000/- towards compensation and cost, the appellant is directed to pay Rs.2,000/- to the complainant.

The appeal is disposed of in Lok Adalat accordingly.
