ORDER

 The counsel for the complainant has stated that the complainant has filed claim in April 2019 and despite sending legal notice in May 2019 the OP did not decide the claim of the complainant.

                        We have gone through the record and  have also heard the counsel for the complainant.  Since the OP company has not decided the claim of the complainant as per IRDA regulation till date, it is therefore directed that the OP shall decide the claim of the complainant within 30 days from the date of receipt copy of this order as per IRDA Regulations.  If any document is required by the OP from the complainant then it shall obtain the same from the complainant within 10 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.  In case the OP is failed to decide the claim of t he complainant within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of order, then, it shall be liable to pay Rs.10,000/- to the complainant as penalty.  Accordingly the complaint stands disposed off.  In case the complainant is not satisfied with the  decision of the OP company he shall be at liberty to resort to any legal remedy available to him under the  provision of law

                        Certified copy be sent to the parties free of charge. After compliance file be consigned.
