ORDER

1.        In compliance with the notice/order dated 15.05.2020 & 29.05.2020 of the Hon’ble State Commission, U.T. Chandigarh, case taken up through video conferencing due to outbreak of COVID-19 & measures to control it, as per Standard Operating Procedure framed by Hon’ble State Commission.

2.        Application alongwith with vakalatnama received from counsel for OP No.2 through petition box.

3.        As per office report, counsel for complainant was informed for today but neither the complainant nor his counsel present despite intimation. Perusal of the record shows that complainant is not appearing for the last many hearings. He was not present on 14.07.2020, then 18.09.2020 and even today. Perusal of the order dated 14.07.2020 shows that OP No.1 has apprised that fee has been refunded to the complainant. Contactless notice was sent to the complainant to know whether he wants to pursue the matter or not. Repeated non appearance of the complainant or OP representative stated that fee has been refunded. We are of the opinion that complainant is not interested to pursue the case further. Hence, this consumer complaint is dismissed for want of appearance of the complainant.

4.        Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
