In terms of the directions issued by this Commission on 29.01.2007, petitioner had deposited a sum of Rs.37,203/- on 20.07.2007 with the Registrar of this Commission.  The revision petition was dismissed with the modification that the petitioner was not required to pay the compensation of Rs.20,000/- to the Respondent. 

The District Forum had allowed the complaint and directed the petitioner to refund to the complainant a sum of Rs.37,203/- towards fee along with Rs.20,000/- by way of compensation and Rs.2,500/- were awarded as costs.  No direction was issued with regard to the release of the amount.  Office is directed to release the sum of Rs.37,203/- along with accrued interest to the respondent in part satisfaction of the decree.
