Final Order / Judgement

Hon’ble Mr. Ajeya Matilal, Presiding Member

          It appears from 16.12.2022 a correspondence were received from the Hon’ble President, WBSCDRC vide Memo No. 1753/SC/2J-3/20 wherein the Hon’ble President observed that this Bench has sufficient power for taking appropriate action against the intentional insult made by the appellant as per Section 38(10) of the C.P. Act, 2019.

          However, today is fixed for showing cause by the appellant. The Appellant did not file any petition showing cause. He is absent on call.

          It appears that he lost his interest to proceed with the appeal.

          Accordingly, A/678/2019 is dismissed for non-prosecution.

          Impugned order dt. 03.08.2017 in CC/1/2017 is upheld.

          Let a copy of this order be sent to Ld. DCDRF, Kolkata, Unit-III for information and necessary action.

          The Joint Registrar of this Commission is requested to do the needful in this regard.
