ORDER

This revision petition was dismissed by an order dated 8th February 2011 for reasons to be recorded separately. The reasons are as under: 2. The complaint involved allegation of deficiency against the petitioner because a buffalo owned by the respondent/ complainant died on account of electrocution because of an exposed live wire of a transformer installed by the petitioner. After detailed consideration of the pleadings and evidence brought on record, the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Panipat, (in short, he District Forum directed the petitioner to pay Rs.22,000/- towards the cost of the dead buffalo within 30 days (failing which the amount was to carry interest @ 9% per annum from the date of filing of the complaint till the actual payment) and in addition, cost of Rs.2200/-. 3. Aggrieved by this order, the petitioner went up in appeal before the Haryana State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Panchkula (in short, he State Commission. The State Commission by the impugned order dismissed the appeal taking into account the settled case law on the subject. 4. I have heard Mr. Alok Sangwan, learned counsel for the petitioner. I am of the considered view that the orders of the Fora below are fully justified in the facts and circumstances of the case, and there is no need for interference with the impugned order of the State Commission under section 21 (b) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.
