Both these appeals are on similar question hence, are decided by this common order. Facts are taken from Appeal No. 1050/2019.

 

The contention of the appellant is that packet was never delivered to the destination and the claim should have been allowed.

 

Heard the counsel for the appellant and perused the impugned judgment.

 

There is no dispute about the fact that the parcel was booked.

 

The contention of the respondent is that it was remained unclaimed hence, returned back to the sender and document Ex. R 6 is submitted by the appellant himself and further the

Forum below has rightly held that for the customer's complaint 180 days are provided and appellant has not complained within the stipulated time hence, inquiry could not be made by the non-applicants and no reason has been assigned for not mentioning the matter earlier. Further it has also not been submitted that how could appellant know about the fact of non-delivery.

 

In view of the above, there is no merit in these appeals and stand dismissed.
