            The Complainant is absent.

            A representative of the OP (Peerless General Finance Company Ltd., Balurghat Branch is present).

            The case is taken up for hearing regarding cost, interest and compensation claimed by the complainant.

            Heard: The representative of the OP perused to record.

            Order No. 5 dt. 26.10.2005 may be recalled.

            In terms of the said ordered No. 5 dated 26.10.2005 OP issued a cheque dated 28.09.2005 for Rs.10,145/- on account of maturity value of the Certificate No.B0355789 and the said cheque was received by the complainant on 26.10.2005.

            Now, the only question falls for consideration whether the complainant is entitled to interest, cost and compensation as claimed.

            After hearing the OP and on perusal on record we are of the views that it would be just and proper if the amount of Rs.450/- is assessed on account of cost. Accordingly, it is

O R D E R E D

            That the complainant shall get cost of Rs.450/- (Rupees four hundred fifty only).

            That the OP is hereby directed to issue A/c payee cheque of Rs.450/- in favour of

            complainant Dipti Ghosh within a month hereof.

            To 18.01.2007 for payment of cost.

            The case shall stand disposed of.

            The case cannot be disposed of within specified period of 90 days, as there was no

            Member till September 2006.

Opposite Parties (Peerless General Finance Company Ltd.) deposited A/c Payee Cheque  No.251109 dt. 16.01.2007 for Rs. 450/- (Rupees Four hundred and fifty only) in favour of the complainant Dipti Ghosh .

            In spite of notice complainant has not appeared to receive the Cheque.

            Let the Cheque be sent to the complainant by registered post.

            The case is disposed of with full satisfaction.
