CC No.169 of 2021.

Khushi Ram    Vs.    NIA.

                    (Notice of complaint was not ordered against respondent No.2).  

 

             On the basis of even dated application filed by the respondent No.1, file taken up on today. Per chance, counsel for the complainant also present before this Commission. Parties have entered into amicable settlement and counsel for the respondent No.1, on behalf of the respondent No.1 offered payment of Rs.2,46,000/- in lump sum as a matter of full and final settlement and assured payment of the same within the period of 60 days. The counsel for the complainant agreed to the proposal made by the counsel for the respondent No.1. Statement of counsel for the respondent No.1 and counsel for the complainant recorded.

                   In view of the statement of counsel for the respondent No.1, without passing any adverse remark on the act and conduct of the respondent No.1, matter being amicably settled, present complaint is accepted against the respondent No.1, holding it liable to make payment of Rs.2,46,000/- to the complainant as a full and final settlement of the matter and the respondent No.1 will make payment of award amount of Rs.2,46,000/- within the period of 60 days from the date of order, in default of it, it shall be liable to pay simple interest @8% per annum from the date of order till actual realization. File be consigned to the records.
