We have heard the counsel for the parties at length. After advancing their arguments, counsel for the complainant has taken instructions from his client – Mr Alok Nath, Vice President (Legal) who is present in person today. He says that during the course of the case the counsel for the opposite party on instructions had stated that the opposite party is willing to pay an additional amount of Rs.2,84,288/-, (Rupees two lakh eighty four thousand and two hundred eighty eight only) to the amount already paid subject to the condition that the complainant withdraws the complaint and undertakes that he will not raise any other claim with regard to this cause of action.

Counsel for the complainant states that they are agreeable to receive the amount of Rs.2,84,288/- and undertakes to withdraw the present complaint and also not to file any other case or make any further demands with regard to this cause of action.

        Counsel for the opposite party states that the payment of Rs.2,84,288/- will be made to the complainant within four weeks.  In case the opposite party fails to pay the amount within the stipulated period, complainant may file for execution of the order.

        With these observations, the complaint is disposed of in terms of the above settlement arrived at between the parties.
