We are happy to note that during the course of hearing, with the active assistance of learned Counsel appearing for both the parties, the dispute, subject matter of the present Revision Petition, has been amicably settled.  In terms of the settlement, the Petitioner shall pay to the Respondent/Complainant a lump-sum amount of ₹1.00 Lakh as full and final settlement of her claim, within four weeks from today.

In view of the above, the Revision Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Petitioner to remit the said amount directly to the Complainant by means of a demand draft/banker’s cheque within four weeks from today.  On receipt of the said amount, the dispute between the parties, the subject matter of the Complaint, shall stand settled.  It will be open to the Petitioner to withdraw the amount stated to have been deposited with the District Forum.     

The Revision Petition stands disposed of with no order as to costs.
