Vide order dated 05-12-2022, Mr.A.Kakoti, conducting counsel for the appellant appeared and sought the leave of this Commission to take steps on the respondent by paper publication in a widely circulated daily news paper. 27-01-2023 was fixed for appearance of the respondent for necessary order. On 27-01-2023,Mr.A.Kakoti was absent however filing leave application. 17-02-2023 was fixed for appearance of the respondent/necessary order. On 17-02-2023, Mr.Kakoti sought further time for paper publication on the respondent and leave was granted directing to steps to be taken within ten days from 17-02-2023. On 04-05-2023, none appear for the parties to this appeal. On 06/06/2023 , the next date was fixed but none appeared on behalf of the appellant though Mr.Kakoti filed an application seeking further time in order to take steps which was allowed and accordingly fixed 31-07-2023 for necessary order. On 31-07-2023,further ten days time was granted to Mr.Kakoti to take steps by way of paper publication fixing 14-09-2023. On 14-09-2023, none  appeared however 03-11-2023 was fixed for submission of copy of the notice through paper publication .On 19-10-2023, none appeared for the parties and the matter was fixed on 05-12-2023. On 05-12-2023,Mr.Kakoti filed an application for leave of absence and the matter was fixed 19-01-2024. On 19-01-2024, again Mr.Kakoti had applied for leave of absence from 18/01/2024 to 23/01/2024. Accordingly, matter stands adjourned fixing 06-02-2024 for submission of copy of notice through paper publication. Today, Mr.J.Pegu entered appearance on the behalf of Mr.Kakoti seeking further time in order to take steps by paper publication of notice. From the extension of date granted by this Commission it is clear that the appellant through its counsel has taken this Commission on ride and as such we will not extend further time to take steps  for issuing notice on the respondent in FA 67/2017.Appeal accordingly stands dismissed for not taking steps . Sent back the LCR.
