Present application has been moved by learned Counsel on behalf of applicants/appellants in Appeal No. 2152 of 2011 Meerut Post Office, Meerut Cantt. and another V/s Munendra Kumar for refund of Rs.550/- deposited by appellant under Section-15 of the Consumer Protection Act 1986 in this appeal.

Copy of judgment and order dated 30-08-2017 passed by a bench of this State Commission in said appeal has been annexed with the application. It shows that appeal has been partly allowed. The impugned judgment and order passed by District Consumer Forum has been modified. 

In view of above, the above amount deposited in the above appeal under Section-15 of the Consumer Protection Act 1986 shall be remitted to the District Consumer Forum alongwith interest if any accrued, who shall pass appropriate order for disposal of the same in accordance with law.

Application is disposed of accordingly.
