ORDER

The complaint is allowed. The 1st o.p. shall refund a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the complainant along with interest at 18% p.a. from 17/09/1990 till the date of realisation. He shall further pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- towards the compensation for the injury suffered by the complainant due to mental tension, anxiety, stress and strain and expenses. The 1st o.p. shall further pay a sum of Rs.250/- towards cost of these proceedings. This order shall be complied with within a period of 30 days from the date of its receipt by the 1st o.p. failing which, the complainant is at liberty to take out execution proceedings and recover the entire amount in a lumpsum.
