ORDER
At the time of arguments, the matter has amicably been settled between the parties. It is stated by Counsel for Opposite Party No.1 that Opposite Party No.1 will return an amount of Rs.21,71,800/- to the complainant with interest @8.5% p.a. (simple) from the date of respective deposits made. The entire amount will be paid in three equated monthly installments, payable on 15.07.2017, 15.08.2017 & 15.09.2017 respectively. Three post-dated cheques will be handed over to the Counsel for the complainant/complainant, within four weeks from today. Taking note of the fact that the first amount was deposited on 05.01.2012, we grant compensation of an amount of Rs.50,000/-. The said compensation amount of Rs.50,000/- be paid by Opposite Party No.1 with the last installment to the complainant. The interest will be paid on decreasing balance upto the date of making last payment. On getting first two payments, the complainant will get No Dues Certificate from the financer, through whom, loan has been raised by her and, thereafter, give that No Dues Certificate to Opposite Party No.1 before encashment of the third cheque. In view of above settlement, this complaint stands disposed of. Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties, free of charge.
