This is a complaint filed by the complainant under Section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 praying to direct the opposite parties to pay interest at the rate of 10% on the maturity amount of Rs.85,500/- for the period from 27.08.2014 to 20.10.2015 for the belated payment  of the matured amount paid to the complainant by the Opposite Parties together with interest at 10% p.a. for the subsequent period from 21.10.2015 till the date of payment; to direct the opposite parties to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- towards compensation for the loss and mental agony suffered by her and to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- towards cost of this complaint.    

2.  Notice to opposite parties were duly served.  The first opposite party filed reply version and adopted by the second opposite party.  Several opportunities were given to the complainant to adduce evidence.  Since the complainant does not show interest to adduce evidence, the complainant side was closed and posted the matter for OP side evidence. 

          3. Today this complaint was called.  Complainant absent.  Opposite Parties absent.  No representation made by both the parties.  The complainant did not take any effort to appear before this Forum for more than sixteen hearings and appeared only one hearing.  No steps taken by her to adduce evidence.  No interest shown by her to proceed the matter.  Hence, this complaint is hereby dismissed for default.  No costs.
