The applicant-OP filed application for depositing of decretal amount (50%) as per order of Hon’ble National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, New Delhi. As per the order of the Hon’ble National Commission dated 28.5.2012, stay is granted subject to the petitioner depositing 50% of the decretal amount with the District Forum, within a period of 4 weeks. As per office report, the DD No.087278 dated 25.6.2012 of Rs.6,85,294/- drawn on Punjab National Bank and DD No.254225 dated 19.6.2012 of Rs.6,69,988/- drawn on Union Bank of India, alongwith application - 50% of the awarded amount, received on 25.6.2012. The office has attached calculation sheet. The office is directed to deposit the DD of Rs.6,85,294/- and Rs.6,69,988/-, in the bank account of the Forum, in compliance of the order dated 28.5.2012 passed by the Hon’ble National Commission in Revision Petition No.1371 of 2012 with IA/1/2012(Stay). The office is further directed that the amount so collected be deposited in the shape of F.D.R. in a Nationalized Bank, for a period of one year, to be renewed from time to time, if needed. Office to note and make necessary entry in the record. The application stands disposed of accordingly Certified copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties.
