8.    `2 lakh and paid`17,538/- towards the first premium. The appellants issued receipt acknowledging the receipt of the amount from her.

“ The mere receipt and retention of the premiums until after the death of applicant does not give rise to a contract though the circumstances may be that approval could not inferred from retention of premium.   

12.    `2 lakh in terms of an unconcluded contract.   

13.     `17,538/- with interest @ 12% per annum from 15.3.2007 till payment together with costs of`2000/-.
