Heard both the  learned Counsel.

        I am happy to note that this matter has been amicably settled between the parties out of court.  It is brought to my notice by the

learned Counsel for the Appellant that an amount of ₹15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakh only) has been deposited before the Gujarat State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.  Keeping in view the terms of settlement, an amount of ₹10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh only) shall be released by the State Commission to the Complainants on filing an appropriate Application and the balance amount along with the accrued interest, if any, shall be released to the Appellant, i.e., Standard Chartered Bank.

        Having regard to the amicable settlement entered into between the parties, the office is directed to release the statutory amount of       ₹35,000/-, deposited by the Appellant at the time of filing of the Appeal, to the Appellant.

        The Appeal stands disposed of as settled amicably out of court.
