Both the learned counsel states that the matter has been settled between the parties. The complainant is also present in person. The settlement deed dated 28.01.2020 has been signed by both the parties. It has been stated that as per the settlement the amount deposited by the appellant with the State Commission in compliance of the order dated 26.03.2015 amounting to Rs.50,46,286/- shall be released to the complainant/ respondent and the remaining amount shall be paid by the appellant within 15 days.

        Accordingly, the State Commission is requested to release the amount of Rs.50,46,286/- along with upto date interest, if any, to the complainant. Accordingly, this appeal no. 1436 of 2014 is disposed of in terms of the settlement dated 28.01.2020.

        Learned counsel for the appellant states that the statutory amount of Rs.35,000/- deposited by the appellant at the time of filing of the appeal may be returned to the appellant. He may file an application with the registry after the settlement is fully completed.
