ORDER

Learned proxy counsel for the petitioner states that the matter has been compromised between the parties and a joint application has been filed which has been signed by the learned counsel for the respondent and the learned proxy counsel who has filed the authority letter from the main counsel.

          As both the parties have confirmed the settlement, the same is taken on record.  Learned counsel for the petitioner further states that as per the settlement, the amount deposited by the appellant before the State Commission in compliance of order dated 17.08.2016 i.e.Rs.68,92,356/- will be paid to the respondents alongwith accrued interest on the deposited amount.  The State Commission is accordingly directed to release the deposited amount of Rs.68,92,356/- alongwith accrued interest to the respondents within a period of 45 days once the application is filed by the respondent before the State Commission.  The State Commission shall release this amount after due verification of the deposited amount and the recipient.

          It is also requested that the Statutory amount of Rs.35,000/- deposited by the appellant be released to the appellant as the matter has been settled.  The registry is directed to release the amount of Rs.35,000/- to the appellant within a period of 45 days from today.

The First Appeal stands disposed of in terms of the settlement.
